I have several families that I contend with:

Patels: Derived from Zoe Patel.

Holidays: Derived from Summer Holiday

Simpokes: Derived from my CAS Sim Karen Simpoke

Hanks: Derived from a walk by Sim, McKinley Hanks.

These four families I consider my main families.  They have the longest line of all the families in town.  With the addition of Expansions, the following families were added from the Windenburg neighborhood, most into the third generation, except where noted:

Villareal: Derived from Luna Villareal.

Fyres: Derived from Morgan Fyres and Siobahn Fyres of Windenburg.

Bjergens:  Derived from Sofia Bjergsen of Windenburg.

Covingtons: A walk by Sim, Chaya Covington.

Goins: Added from a story, Kaelyn Goins.

Rutledge: A walk by Sim, Jennifer Rutledge.  Second Generation.

Next I’ll show you the Simpoke family tree, which will be the first family in which we will go and visit.

The tree contains Patels, Holidays, and Hanks, so the Simpokes is well integrated with the other families in town.  They are all related in some way. On the very far right is Ariel Simpoke whose current family consists of her mother Kelly, father Shane, her husband Lewis and her two children Jason and Dallas.  Here is a snapshot of the Simpoke family:

Note that the males retain their last name since this is the default of the game and why I use the matriarch legacy style.   Here is the house that I built for them.

And so the story begins.
