Stacey Holiday Family

Stacey Holiday is the daughter of Hande Holiday and a descendant of Summer Holiday. She is married to Valentin Holiday (who is related if one goes back a few generations) and have two have two children, Chandler and Julissa (who I call Jewel-Licious). I needed a photo of the two children on Julissa’s birthday, so they posed in the backyard for their mother.

I do need a better male pose, for all I have are model poses. After the party, Valentin finally gets a piece of the birthday cake late at night. Valentin is a Sim that seems to show up at every event – without his wife, Stacey.

Now a teen, Stacey gives Julissa a hug. I’m currently going though a period where the children are now becoming teens. This is a critical time, for I like to find out what characteristics they obtain and better that I get to choose the traits of at least the main teens. Julissa ends up wanting a family and looks to be a mother who stays at home.

Over from school, Chandler, Julissa, and Briana Hanks build up their fun level by watching a movie. Now, Chandler, has the Romancing trait, which should be interesting for a teen. He also has the active trait, so with that he formed the Letter Club, and got all his fellow teens to join. Julissa formed the Glee Club for all the teen girls, which will help out Chandler.

I was a bit interested in genetics and wanted to see how closely Stacey and Julissa looked in appearance. I bit tough since the hairstyle gets in the way, but there is some similarity between the two.

With them all together at the table it was a good time to look for similar attributes between the parents and children. I find that Chandler got a lot of his looks from his father, Valentin and it appears that Julissa got her mother’s nose. But in Julissa, I see more of Summer Holiday than I do in Stacey, again the hairstyle is distracting.

While at the Holiday house, thought I would take them over to the Patel’s for a visit.  Jamie Patel is one of the last surviving elders (my beloved Kelly Simpoke has passed) and has pretty much let Leah Patel take control of the house. Leah is a outdoors type and being at the Patel house, she has a full range of plants to take care of. Leah is married to Caiden Lehman, a sim that I’m not positive where he came from, but they have two children, a son Wesley and a daughter, Kristyn. Kristyn looks like her mother, but she also looks like an ancestor Sim named Mckinley Hanks.

She has the Family trait but also has the gloomy trait, a trait I don’t care much for.

The Patel’s have their house in Willow Creek up where an existing house was. Zoe was one of my favorite Sims at the beginning and followed her and her descendants closely. I believe one was a scientist and went through that career and obtained all the ‘extras’ one gets for completing that career. This is a two story plus an attic that is used to store said equipment.

One of my first wedding parties was given here and the backyard has been updated with the water slide. The water slide seems to be a popular item for the Sims, if left alone, thats where they will go to.

Wesley Patel is a genius with the want to do everything including eating everything. Believe me, the Holidays are here, its just that they are all at the water slide.

The Holidays and Patel’s are deep in generations in this save, going back six generations. There are other Patel’s and Holiday’s running around town, such as Juanita Holiday, Tamika Patel, and Greta Patel.

For beginning families, I limit the number of children to just two. If the first born is a female, then they have just one child, if the first is a male, then they can try again for a female. It is possible to have four children (or more) if one has triplets on the second try. So far I had only one family with triplets (on the first try) and all were girls, and that is the Villareal family.  Names are randomly given by the game’s name generator.

Alexandrea Hanks

Alex is a single mother who is a full time musician. While she was a younger adult, she roomed up with her sister Leanna and fellow club members, Greta Patel and Leah Patel. She met up with Alex Goins and became pregnant with her daughter, Briana, and thats when she found out that Alex did not like children and he ended up leaving her to herself.

Soon, the inhabitants of the house she was living in with left one by one to start their own families leaving only Tara Villareal living with her in the large house, Tara was to move out soon, for she was getting married, but she invited Alex and Briana to live with them.

It’s a shame for the house they were in was rich, gained from the club members, Ariel, Stacey, and Tamika and the others. Tara, who was not a club member, would eventually inherit this wealth without putting hardly a dime into its bank.

Alex and Briana eventually move out of Tara’s house when Alex started to receive her royalties from her music and that’s how Alex explained it to Leah Patel over dinner.

Briana was a child when they moved into the Mesim house in Oasis Springs. The two where close for Briana thought a lot of her mother. She was excited about their house and that she had her own room. Though just a C student, she promises her mother she will bring her grades up.

Alex talents in music was in piano and guitar. When Alex came in from work late at night, she would play a few songs on the guitar or piano before she went to bed. For Briana it was comforting sound of her mother’s singing voice as she played guitar.

Briana formed a club for just the kids in town, called the Kids club. She set the rules to state that they must play with toys, swim, and use the water slide. The main rule though that they also do their homework. I think that was put in by her mother.

But it concern Alex leaving Briana at home by herself and maybe it was best to hire a nanny. It was something on her mind.

Most of the time, Briana’s friends are over for a visit, in this case Julissa Holiday did a stay over. Brianna friends list was getting long, being the leader of a popular club. She was always in good spirits.

One night one of club members wanted to get together, with her home work all done, it didn’t seem to be a  bad idea, just didn’t realize it was at the nightclub. Well no points for the club tonight, but dancing was fun.

A funny episode occurred one evening where Alex and Briana went over to Stacey Holiday’s house for a visit. Stacey’s father, Samson, decided to cook up something on the burner when he ended up cooking himself. Everyone one stood around and chatted away as Samson quietly burned to death.

Stacey Holiday was too busy talking to Alex and Briana while all the commotion was occurring in front of her. Her mother was pretty much stricken by the whole event and upon seeing Grimm sweeping up the ashes.

Soon after the Major Chords called a meeting. Alex wanted some ideas for a nanny and what to do with their aging parents. It was a solemn meeting by the pool.

They all hope for good deaths for their parents, and not the way that Stacey father went. Geez.. burnt to a crisp.

Alex had to go to work and so the meeting drew to a close. Gave some time for the girls to talk a bit about Alex’s situation.

Alex’s answer came in the form of a teenager named Katelin. One day at the park Alex noticed Katelin hanging and playing with the girls in Briana’s club. She approached her and wonder if she could do the deed of caring for Briana. After a few checks, it was a done deal.

After school Katelin would come home with Briana and they would do homework together and socialize afterwards. It was a sweet setup.

When Alex came home, she and Katelin had a discussion. Alex wanted to know her better, she seem to be a decent type of person. She found out that Katelin wanted to be a bar tender and during their chat she made a nice drink for Alex’s diner.

Katelin mentions she too was abandon by her father and that her mother could barely make support to pay the rent. Alex decided to hire Katelin as a full time nanny, for not only can she make drinks, but she can also cook. Seems reasonable.

While Briana spent the night at the Holiday’s, Alex and Katelin went out to the nightclub and ran into Juanita Holiday. Katelin introduces herself to Juanita.

Soon Walter, Juanita’s husband, joins them and Alex asks “Have you met my new nanny Katelin?”

The next morning was a Saturday, and so Briana called for a club meeting. Briana was a A student and the three moved to an even bigger house in Oasis Springs to make room for Katelin. Alex was ranking it in from her royalties and reached her top level in the musician field.

Alex and Briana finally moved to the Rio Verde house in Oasis, which is in the same neighborhood as Tamika Patel house. The Rio Verde is a four bedroom home with 2-1/2 baths. With a pool and room for a water slide, it makes a good home for all three.

I kinda felt for Alex. She was destined to be ignored and forgotten until I made a mistake in thinking that her sister, Leanna, had two boys. So I had Alex get pregnant from a Sim who ended up not liking kids, but I did get a girl to keep the Hanks lineage in tack. Then I found out that Leanna did have a girl after all. Whoops.

The Rio Verde house is available in my library.

Major Chords

The Major Chords is a club that was organized by Ariel Simpoke that glued the major sims together. Ariel took over the club from another Sim (which I believe was her brother Walter) and kicked everyone out and had her friends joined.  It was the first club that I really got into.  There eight members to the club and are shown in this series of images taken at Alexandrea Hanks home during a club meeting.
The club outfit was a bit on the skimpy side, since when the club was formed they were all young adults and seem appropriate. The main activity was to dance and play musical instruments. Mostly what they did was dance during their meetings, but it gave ample time to socialize and keep their friendship levels up. These are the main sims that are played, though there are other groups in town.

Leanna Hanks though not a original Sim family comes from the Hanks matriarch family line. She is married to Jorge Holiday and has two children, a daughter named Kiley and a son named Caleb. She lives in the Hanks Legacy house which is located in Newcrest; a small but adequate Sim Home that contains most of the items her family line has acquired over time.
Stacy Holiday is the current matriarch of one of the Holiday family lines. She is married to another Holiday name Valentin, though they are not cousins. They have two children, a son named Chandler and a daughter name Julissa. Stacy maintains the Holiday Legacy house in Newcrest.

Juanita is the youngest of the group and is the matriarch of the second Holiday family line. She is married to Ariel’s brother Walter and has one child, a daughter named Olivia. Juanita and Walter’s wedding party was a recorded in pictures and will be shown at a later time.

There are two groups of Sims that differ in age and Juanita is a bridge between these two groups. This group contains the original Sims ancestry line comes from the base game of Sims, the Patels and Holidays, while the second group comes from the Windenburg Sims, the Bjergen’s, Fyres’, and Villarreal’s.

Greta Patel and Tamika Patel are sisters. There are three Patel families in town, with the other being Leah Patel. This gives the Patel’s a dominating hold on the town at this time. Greta has two son’s, Rex and Darin and live in Willow Creek. She is married to Watson Holiday.

Tamika is married to Santiago Patel and has two daughters, Jayden and Marisol. She lives in Oasis Springs in the second Patel Legacy House. She is the oldest of this group.

Alexandrea Hanks, is a single mother and is Leanna’s sister. Her daughter, Briana, lives with her in the house that is shown in these images. She left Briana’s father do to irreconcilable differences (he didn’t like children) and has brought up Briana on her own while working full time as a musician. The two live comfortably in their home in Willow Creek. Alex also became a guardian to a teenager named Katelin, who seconds as a baby sitter to Brianna while she works the late nights in her musician job.  Brianna will start a kids club that contains 8  children of the Major Chords.

Leah Patel is a direct ancestor to Amy Zoe Patel and lives in the Patel Legacy house in Willow Creek. Married to Caiden Lehman (a homeless sim), the two have two children, a daughter Kristyn and a son Wesley. The Patel Legacy house is fully stocked with items awarded to the Patel family line, one of which was a scientists who obtained all the experimental equipment from the labs. Leah though is a outdoors type and therefore maintains the garden located at the legacy house.

Having groups such as this is a good way to keep tabs of everyone in town. In this case I was playing Alex in getting Briana up in grades up until Briana became a teenager. Major Chords I believe is an existing club that came with the expansion and it works out well with these group of legacy Sims.

Alex and Dianna get together outside to gossip a bit. This offered a good time for Alex to build up their friendship. There are only a few ‘enemies’ in town, most of everyone gets along with with each other.

This Genealogy tree shows the five generations of the Holidays with Summer Holiday at the top. There are two current lines that have survived to the fifth generation, Stacey’s and Juanita’s.

This is the Patel Genealogy tree showing it’s five generation from Leah and four from Greta and Tamika. Breal gave birth to Staci late in her adult life. Staci was therefore cared for by a guardian named Kaylyn Goins. It is interesting that Martina Goins shown in this tree is her granddaughter.

Genealogy trees are fascinating to look at.
