My Sims Town: The Houses

I like building houses. One of the reasons I bought into the Sims franchise was the house building that it gave. Each house I build has a story behind it. Most of these houses are available via my ID: zembee in the game and are available CC Free.

I’ve been playing this one particular save game since Sims 4 inception and added a few packs along the way. Since I’m from SW USA, I’ve converted most of the lots in Oasis Springs to reflect the Santa Fe Pueblo style. Most of these houses are of the Santa Fe Style architecture. The northwest area contains three legacy houses, the Staci Patel House, Alexandrea Hanks House, and Tara Villareal House.

With the addition of Newcrest, this was left mostly empty until the Get Together expansion was added. The West (left side) area of the neighborhood was built using the new materials available from the pack. Some of my ‘favorite’ Legacy families have their home here.

The Covington house has three bedrooms. The significance of this house is that I took a break from the Sims4 to get into Minecraft for awhile and when I came back I bought the new expansion and found the new materials to build with. I created a new family called the Covingtons and built this house for them. End up having a Villareal and a Fyres from the Hindenburg move in and the parties began. I kept on running into the original sims from the save and built new houses for them in this neighborhood.

Kelsi Holiday is a granddaughter of Summer Holiday. She was one of regularly played sims and therefore built a house for her legacy. This is a three bedroom home that sits on the corner.

The Phoenix Holiday house was originally a Simpoke house, but Selene decided to move to Windenburg to get rich. That left her mother and her brother the house. Her brother married Phoenix Holiday and therefore the house turned into a Holiday Legacy House. It won’t be another three or four generations before the Simpoke family moves back in. A four bedroom house and sits on the corner. It has a pool house in the back.

The Simpoke’s house is on the smallest lot in this area, but has four bedrooms. Selene Simpoke married into a Hindenburg house and lived there until she had her first child. The marriage broke up and she move back to Newcrest and with her mother’s money built this house. The Simpokes are the only original CAS made Sims left in town.

The Fyres house is on the largest lot in Newcrest. Siobhan Fyres married Max Villarreal who was left with a large sum of money after the sell of their home in Windenburg. This house was built with that large sum and is well furnished with the existing furniture of the old house. Siobhan granddaughter Belinda is now living at this residence at the time of this writing and the insides are being remodeled with new CC.

These houses change as I bounce around to house to house, mostly with the walls, add new furniture or add a basement, but the general layout is the same.

I added this page just to see where it fits in and to show case the houses that I’ve built. New houses will be added as time goes on.
