Tamika Patel is the daughter of Staci Patel and is the fifth generation of the Zoe Patel family tree. She is a distant cousin of Leah Patel who lives in the Patel Legacy House in Willow Creek. Tamika’s house is in Oasis Springs and is as most houses, a custom house I built a while back for her grandmother Breal Patel.

While Tamika was a young adult, she moved in with Dallas Simpoke, Leah Patel, and Stacey Holiday to spend some party time and get their skill levels up. She will meet Santiago Patel (very distant cousin) and marry. She then moved back to her mother’s house in Oasis Springs and start her family. Tamika was the eldest of her generation and therefore always ahead of the game in terms of her job level, skills and family life.

As I roamed around and played the other Sims, she would be always one of the Sim’s that would be walking on the street and therefore was mostly well know to the many Sims in town. As time went on, it was close for her to become an elder, so I stop time and spent a day with Tamika.

A typical day I would suppose, she had the day off and so she had time to do things around the house. Since the house wasn’t visited for awhile, I noticed she needed to take some care in the plants that where left from her grandmother’s day. A nice simple garden that was put out on the side of the house, Tamika pulls up the weeds.

Tamika and Santiago has two daughters, Jayden and Marisol. Jayden, the eldest, is more of a party girl, while Marisol is more of a goofball. Coming back from school, they are not in a happy mood so they both go off to watch a movie, before they do their home work.

Tamika is a level 8 chef at this time and had a good list of recipes. She cooks up a tuna casserole while Jayden grabs some left over shrimp cocktails out of the fridge. As I came into this house one surprising thing was that Tamika had a complete collection of fossils in her inventory along with the award. I put the fossils in the basement along with the award. A nice prize for the house.

Santiago is just coming back from a tough day of work and the bills are waiting from him in the mailbox. Santiago is a writer in profession but only at level two, so for him it is just a job. Tamika is the bread winner as with all the matriarch’s is the bread winner of the family, but with bill’s in the 7000’s every penny helps.

The teens get with their homework while Santiago fixes a busted speaker outside. The girls are just C students, but while I’m at house homework gets done.

Tamika joins them with a drink in hand. Tamika satisfied her lifetime goal while she was a young adult and her second goal is now in the drink making field. She starts up a conversation with her daughters.

Jayden is drinking one of Tamika’s drinks she had in the Fridge while Marisol tries to complete her homework. Again, with little time spent at this house, the relationships where at the bottom end of the scale, but the conversation was varied and relationships built up nicely.

Santiago joins in after fixing the speaker so he too can get to know his own daughters and his wife. After spending time they became a happy family and a bit of lust glimmers between Tamika and Santiago.

It was getting late and the girls went to bed while Tamika and Santiago also prepared for bed. A little bit of romance was in the air between the two.

A the next morning it was off to school for Jayden. Eat breakfast, and dress up and off she goes, though a bit late for school.

Marisol was a bit later in going to school that morning, for she need to bathe before taking off. While she was walking out the front door, the principle was giving her a call.

And so it was another new day for Tamika. She checks her schedule and see she will be needing to go to work that day. Oh she wanted to pay a visit with her friends but maybe it will be just a chat on the phone for this day. She gets a message from Dallas Simpoke about some birthday.

Just Another Day or Two

Spending just a day wasn’t enough, especially when Kristyn Patel came over for a visit. Kristyn is a cousin and Marisol invited her to spend the night.

When all went to bed Kristyn was on auto pilot, so she ended up doing exercises. Its interesting to see what these sims do when they are not under my control. Kristyn looks very much like her mother, Leah, which is one thing I notice about her.

By the time Marisol woke up, Kristyn came over and join her for a chat while Marisol ate her breakfast of fine omelets that Tamika had cooked. Pretty soon, Kristyn would finally go to bed.

The teens dancing to the kitchen radio. Jayden came down and ate her breakfast and then joined Marisol in some dancing. Jayden has the dancing trait, so when every she gets a chance I get her dancing.

The teens come home from school and chat away in the living room. Santiago and Tamika decides to have their diner in company of their daughters. Having done their homework and it was the weekend,it was decided to visit some other household.

Tamika gets a call from Stacey Holiday to come over for a visit (hang-out). Santiago had to go to work, so the girls went over to the Holiday’s. Julissa and Chandler were the only ones home so the teens got to know each other out on the sidewalk. A small subset of the next generation to come.

Meanwhile, Tamika played a few tunes on the piano. I was surprised that she knew how to play the basic tunes. While she played the teens came in to listen and chat.

I gave the opportunity to Chandler to get to know Marisol a bit better. Chandler is a romancer who needs to have ten girlfriends. Right now I believe he has three, and Marisol could be the fourth.

Well it was no fun for Tamika, so after she played the tunes on piano, the three went over to Juanita Holiday’s house for a visit. Juanita’s daughter, Olivia, is her only child with Walter, so Marisol and Jayden spend time with Olivia while Tamika spend time with Juanita and Walter.

Walter is Ariel Simpoke’s brother who married his long time sweet heart Juanita. The two have been together since their teens and now live in the house Juanita’s mother built in Willow Creek.

It was dinner time, so a plate of french toast was taken from the fridge. Jayden was the only one to grab the blacken bass.

Jayden gets to know Juanita. With Tamika the eldest of her generation, Juanita was the youngest. But here soon they will become elders while they still tend to their young teenagers.

The sims move around a lot. While Jayden and Juanita converse, Marisol and Olivia chat at the bar. Olivia will soon be invited into the Glee Club soon, which leaves just one slot open.

Tamika went over to Ariel’s house again and found the fridge was empty, so she cooked up some omelets and bass while everyone was away. She need to cook up something anyways since that is a chef requirement.  She does need to clean up after herself though.

Jayden and Marisol sit at the dining table with Dallas and discuss the inclusion of Olivia to the club. Lewis Holiday, Ariel’s husband looks on.

Glee Club get together at the Patel’s house. The Glee club objectives is to watch movies, dance, swim, and do homework. In order to get Olivia in the club, they needed to obtain points in increase the membership count.

A little bit of swimming followed by dancing put in the numbers. Olivia was invited that day.

Spending a few days at the Patel house and over a weekend a nice change of pace from playing the City, though I didn’t get to go to one of the festivals during this time, maybe the next household.
